Out of Office Student Success Resources

We recognize this can be a stressful time of year and you might have questions or concerns about this past semester or the one you'll begin in September. Our Student Success team is here to support you. Below are some links which may help answer your questions.

If you want to connect with a Student Success Facilitator please email success@sl.on.ca.

Where do I find...?

You might have questions about where to find certain documents or information.

Below is a snapshot of your slc.me portal where you will find most of your information. You can access information about your fees, enrolment, timetables, grades, transcripts, verification of enrollment and access to your schedule when it is available.

If you have taken a course from OntarioLearn or from another College and would like to use this credit towards your SLC program requirements, you will need to complete the Transfer Credit Application Form.

If you are looking for a specific service on campus, please use the link at the top of your slc.me portal titled “College Services” to navigate directly to that service's page.

I have questions about my ACADEMIC PROGRAM...

If you failed a course and would like to recover this course, there may be options through St. Lawrence College or Ontario Learn.

Please note that your Program Coordinator must approve your selection prior to you registering. If you would like support for the Credit Recovery process or need any further information, please book a meeting with your Program Coordinator or Student Success Facilitator.

If you are on Conditional Academic Status due to not meeting your Fall semester GPA requirement, you may be able to progress to the next semester in your program depending on whether co-requisites and pre-requisites completion have been satisfied.

If co-requisites and pre-requisites limit you from continuing as a full-time student and you would like to continue in your program on a part-time basis, please reach out to your Program Coordinator to develop an academic plan.

If you prefer to explore a different program for the next semester, please review which SLC programs are still accepting applications. A list of open program options is available at OntarioColleges.ca.

International students should consult the following website for available programs at Ontario Colleges International

Prior to applying to a new program, please review the admission requirements. All admission requirements can be found on our website.

For information about your academic program continuance policy please refer to the Academic Policy Manual; Progression or Appendix A: Progression Policies for Full-Time Students by Program.

If you have successfully completed semester 1 from a program and would like to apply to an upper-year semester in another program, please connect with your Student Success Team at success@sl.on.ca or Enrolment enrolment@sl.on.ca to get an Advanced Level Entry Form.

If you have been assigned a grade that you feel is unfair the academic appeal process provides a mechanism for a reasonable review of academic decisions. For more information please use this link. For questions and assistance, contact the Student Rights & Responsibilities Officer at: SRRO@sl.on.ca
